ઓટલોગામની એ સવાર આજે પણ મારી આંખો સામે એવી જ ઊભી થાય છે સૂરજ હજી પૂરો ઉગ્યો ન હતો આકાશમાં હળવો લાલ રંગ પથરાયો હતો ઘરના આંગણામાં પડેલી ઠંડી માટી પર મારા નાના પગલા પડતા અને હું દોડતી દોડતી ઓટલા સુધી પહોંચી જતી એ ઓટલો મારા માટે માત્ર ઘરની બહારનું એક ભાગ ન હતો એ મારી દુનિયા હતી સવાર પડે એટલે હું એટલે બેસી જાઉં ક્યારેક હાથમાં રમકડું હોય તો ક્યારેક માટીની નાની કટોરી, તો ક્યારેક કંઈ જ નહીં છતાં રમવા માટે મને ક્યારેય વસ્તુઓને જરૂર પડતી નહીં મારી કલ્પના મારી રમત બની જતી હતી.
